Niamh Haughey | June 2021
On June 18, 2021, we held a fundraising event on our patio for a young striving athlete! Niamh Haughey is a young Canadian athlete that was successful in making it on to Team Canada’s bobsleigh team and is working hard towards the 2022 and 2026 Olympics! The fundraising event was also our farewell to her as she took off on her journey to train in Calgary at the end of the month. Surrounded by the support of our community and her family/friends, we donated all proceeds directly to her. We were overjoyed at the success. We couldn’t have done it without you all and are so grateful that you joined in on our efforts to support Canada’s rising stars.
