From April- June 2021, the Taproom has been raising money to donate to @reddoorfamilyshelter Every $50 spent in the Bottle Shop or Uber Eats, we donate $20. The Red Door is a shelter community in Toronto’s east end. Their mission is to end family homelessness, one family, at a time. They have a 106-bed Family Shelter as well as a 50-bed Violence Against Women Shelter in an undisclosed location in the east end community. Red Door serves women and children escaping domestic violence, families that have faced a housing crisis such as eviction, and refugee claimants with nowhere else to go. The majority of their families are single-mother-led and over 64% of their residents on any given day are children.
