The Lab

Brunswick Bierworks Laboratory Service is proud to offer an essential range of brewing-related tests to aid the modern and professional brewer in producing high-quality beer. As the craft beer industry continues to mature, and customer palates continue to increase in sophistication, analytical and microbiological testing have become an integral component of any quality management system. For those brewers who do not yet have the financial or logistical resources, or for those who wish to validate their in-house measurements against a third-party lab, Brunswick Bierworks lab team is here to help.

  1. Select your desired quality tests from the full list of lab services or view the list below.

  2. Complete the Analysis Request Form and email it to us at lab@brunswickbierworks.com for a quote.

  3. Ship the appropriate number and volume of containers specified for each type of test.  Drop-offs can be arranged during noted drop-off hours.

  4. Include a completed printout of the Lab Analysis Request Form with each shipment or drop-off.

Turnaround times are dependent on the type of tests requested, and the volume of samples that the Brunswick Lab has in queue. However, rest assured that the Lab team will work as efficiently and expeditiously as possible, while ensuring precise and accurate results.

Micro Plus LS-M02 Total Plate Counts for Yeast/Mould, Bacteria (including Lactobacillus and Pediococcus identification), and Wild Yeast testing on UBA with cycloheximide, LMDA, HLP, LCSM, LWYM.

Spread Plate method only.
Finished Goods: Two (2) cans or bottles.

Unpackaged Beer: Two (2) aseptically collected samples with a minimum volume of 10 ml in each container.

Cold storage and quick shipment times essential.
Full Analytical & Basic Micro LS-P01 Essential Analytical + Colour & Bitterness + Basic Micro Three (3) cans or bottles, finished goods only.
